(i) Explain why an arrow is preferred over a simple line to represent a force.
(ii) Using the same scale, describe how you would draw on paper a force of 20N acting due east and a smaller force of 10N acting due west so that their difference in magnitude is clearly visible.
(iii) Distinguish between balanced forces and unbalanced forces with reference to their vector sums.
