Problem

A circle has a chord XYXY. Two points AA and BB lie on the circumference on the same side of XYXY such that ∠XAY=(5y−7)∘\angle XAY = (5y - 7)^\circ and ∠XBY=(3y+29)∘\angle XBY = (3y + 29)^\circ. The diameter through YY meets the circle again at ZZ. (i) Prove that ∠XAY=∠XBY\angle XAY = \angle XBY. (ii) Hence find the value of yy. (iii) Using your value of yy, calculate ∠XZY\angle XZY.
