Problem

An exoplanet receives a stellar flux of 600 W m−2600\,\text{W\,m}^{-2} at the top of its atmosphere. The planet’s average albedo is 0.300.30, and its surface behaves as a gray body with emissivity 0.800.80. Assuming it rotates rapidly enough to have a uniform surface temperature, calculate its equilibrium temperature.
