Problem

A line of slope 23\dfrac{2}{3} passes through the point A(2,−1)A(2,-1). A point PP is chosen on this line such that its distance from the point B(8,3)B(8,3) is exactly 55 units. (i) Write the Cartesian equation of the line that passes through AA with slope 23\dfrac{2}{3}. (ii) Using the result of part (i), find the coordinates of all possible points PP that satisfy the stated distance condition. Show every algebraic step clearly.
