Problem

A charge q1=+5.0 μCq_{1}=+5.0\,\mu\text{C} is fixed in space. A second charge q2q_{2} is initially 0.10 m0.10\,\text{m} from q1q_{1}. After the charges are released from rest, they separate until the distance between them has doubled. During this motion, the electric potential energy of the two–charge system decreases by 0.75 J0.75\,\text{J}. Calculate the value of q2q_{2}.
