Problem

A particle has mass 0.50 kg0.50\,\text{kg}. At a certain instant its linear momentum vector is given by p=10 ı^−5 ȷ^+2 k^  kg m s−1.\mathbf p = 10\,\hat\imath - 5\,\hat\jmath + 2\,\hat k \;\text{kg}\,\text{m}\,\text{s}^{-1}. (i) Determine the corresponding velocity vector of the particle. (ii) Find the magnitude of the velocity. (iii) Calculate the angle that the velocity vector makes with the positive xx–axis in the xyxy–plane.
