Problem

The vector equation of a plane is a relation satisfied by position vectors of all the points on the plane. If PP is a plane and n^\hat{n} is a unit vector through origin which is perpendicular to the plane PP then vector equation of the plane must be r⋅n^=dr \cdot \hat{n} = d where dd represents perpendicular distance of plane PP from origin. If AA is a point vector aa then perpendicular distance of AA from the plane r⋅n^=dr \cdot \hat{n} = d must be (1) ∣d+a⋅n^∣|d + a \cdot \hat{n}| (2) ∣d−a⋅n^∣|d - a \cdot \hat{n}| (3) ∣a∣−d|a| - d (4) ∣d−a∣|d - a|
