Problem

A circular jogging track in a park has an inner radius of 14 m. A runner decides to jog along exactly one–quarter of the boundary in one session. (Take π=227\pi = \dfrac{22}{7}.) (i) Find the central angle corresponding to the part of the track the runner covers. (ii) Calculate the length of the boundary the runner jogs. (iii) Determine the area of the grassy sector enclosed by the arc covered and the two radii.
