Problem

A coin is tossed twice. (i) Write the sample space SS for this experiment. (ii) Let A=A = “exactly one head occurs” and B=B = “at least one tail occurs”. Decide, with reasons, whether the pair (A,B)(A,B) is (a) mutually exclusive, (b) exhaustive, (c) complementary. (iii) If the coin is fair, find P(A∪B)P(A\cup B) and P(A∩B)P(A\cap B).
