Problem

An angle xx satisfies cos⁡x=−45\cos x=-\dfrac{4}{5} with π<x<3π2\pi<x<\dfrac{3\pi}{2}. Solve the following. (i) Find sin⁡x\sin x. (ii) Compute tan⁡x\tan x and csc⁡x\csc x. (iii) Hence evaluate E=sin⁡x−tan⁡x+sec⁡2xE=\sin x-\tan x+\sec^{2}x.
