Problem

A small rock weighs 3.0 N3.0\,\text{N} in air. When it is fully immersed in water, the water level in a measuring cylinder rises from 20 mL20\,\text{mL} to 26 mL26\,\text{mL}. Take g=10 m s−2g = 10\,\text{m s}^{-2}. Determine the density of the rock in kg m−3\text{kg m}^{-3}.
