Problem

A disc of mass 50 g50\text{ g} slides from rest down an inclined plane at an angle of 30∘30^\circ to the horizontal. Having traversed a distance of 50 cm50\text{ cm} along the horizontal plane, the disc stops. Find the work performed by the friction forces over the whole distance, assuming a friction coefficient of 0.150.15 for both the inclined and horizontal planes. Take g=10 m/s2g=10\text{ m/s}^2.
