Problem

A robot starts from the origin O(0,0)O(0,0) on the Cartesian plane and makes a series of moves described below. Each unit represents 11 metre. Step 1 Move 66 units to the right. Step 2 Move 44 units up. Step 3 Move 99 units left. Step 4 Move 33 units down. Step 5 Move 22 units right. Step 6 Move 77 units down. Step 7 Move 44 units right. Step 8 Move 55 units up. Answer the following. (a) Record the coordinates of the robot after each of the eight steps in the order they occur. (b) What are the final coordinates of the robot? In which quadrant (or on which axis) does the robot finally stand? (c) If every point on the path traced by the robot is reflected in the yy-axis, write the coordinates of the image of the robot’s final position.
