Problem

A normal to the hyperbola x2a2−y2b2=1\frac{x^2}{a^2} - \frac{y^2}{b^2} = 1 meets the axes in MM and NN and lines MPMP and NPNP are drawn perpendiculars to the axes meeting at PP . Prove that the locus of PP is the hyperbola a2x2−b2y2=(a2+b2)2.a^2 x^2 - b^2 y^2 = (a^2 + b^2)^2.
