Problem

Consider a projectile launched from level ground with an initial speed v0v_0 at an angle θ\theta and another projectile launched with the same speed at an angle (90∘−θ)(90^\circ-\theta). (i) Prove, using an appropriate trigonometric identity, that sin⁡2θ=sin⁡2(90∘−θ)\sin 2\theta = \sin 2(90^\circ-\theta). (ii) Explain why the result obtained in part (i) implies that both projectiles have the same horizontal range. (iii) Without performing numerical calculations, discuss qualitatively how the times of flight and the maximum heights of the two projectiles compare with each other.
