Problem

Let ABAB and CDCD be two parallel lines. A transversal EFEF meets ABAB at GG and CDCD at HH. The measure of ∠AGH\angle AGH is (5x3+12)∘\left(\dfrac{5x}{3} + 12\right)^{\circ}, while its co–interior partner ∠GHD\angle GHD measures (2x3+6)∘\left(\dfrac{2x}{3} + 6\right)^{\circ}. A different transversal JKJK meets ABAB at PP such that the exterior angle at PP corresponding to ∠AGH\angle AGH is (4y−3)∘(4y - 3)^{\circ}. Use the information to complete the tasks below. (i) Form the equation in xx arising from the co–interior angles on transversal EFEF.},{ (ii) Form the equation in yy using the corresponding angles on transversal JKJK.},{ (iii) Find the values of xx and yy.},{ (iv) Compute the numerical measures of ∠AGH\angle AGH, ∠GHD\angle GHD and the exterior angle at PP.}
