Problem

Let g(x)=e2x−4ex+3,g(x)=e^{2x}-4e^{x}+3, where x∈Rx\in\mathbb R. (a) Find g′(x)g'(x) and hence obtain the critical points of gg. (b) Analyse the sign of g′(x)g'(x) on the real line and classify each critical point as a point of local maximum or local minimum. (c) Determine the corresponding maximum or minimum value of gg at each such point.
