Problem

For a certain blackbody, the wavelength corresponding to maximum intensity of emission is initially 520 nm520\,\text{nm}. After the body is heated further, this peak wavelength shifts to 400 nm400\,\text{nm}. Assuming the body remains a perfect blackbody throughout the process: (i) Determine its initial absolute temperature. (ii) Calculate its final absolute temperature after heating. (iii) Using your results, find the percentage increase in the total power radiated per unit area of the body as it is heated from the initial to the final state.
