Problem

In a bag-and-replace experiment, a marble is drawn from a bag, the colour is noted, and the marble is put back before the next draw. The experiment was repeated 9090 times and a red marble was obtained 2727 times. (i) Find the empirical probability of drawing a red marble. (ii) Using your answer from part (i), find the probability of not drawing a red marble in a single draw. (iii) If the experiment is repeated 300300 more times under the same conditions, estimate the number of draws in which a marble that is not red will be obtained. Show all steps.
