Problem

A wire of linear charge density λ\lambda passes through a cuboid of length ll, breadth bb and height hh (l>b>hl>b>h) in such a manner that the flux through the cuboid is maximum. The position of the wire is now changed, so that the flux through the cuboid is minimum. The ratio of maximum flux to minimum flux will be (1) l2+b2h\frac{\sqrt{l^2+b^2}}{h} (2) l2+b2+h2h\frac{\sqrt{l^2+b^2+h^2}}{h} (3) hl2+b2\frac{h}{\sqrt{l^2+b^2}} (4) hl2+b2+h2\frac{h}{\sqrt{l^2+b^2+h^2}}
