A school wants to rent plastic chairs for its annual day and is comparing two suppliers.
Supplier A: Delivery charge Rs 500 plus Rs 8 per chair.
Supplier B: Delivery charge Rs 200 plus Rs 12 per chair.
Let x be the number of chairs hired and y the total amount payable (in rupees).
(i) Write the two linear equations in x and y representing the costs charged by Supplier A and Supplier B.
(ii) Plot both equations on the same graph sheet.
(iii) Using the graph, find the number of chairs for which both suppliers charge the same amount and state that common amount.
