Problem

Triangle PQRPQR has side lengths PQ=10 cmPQ = 10\,\text{cm}, PR=14 cmPR = 14\,\text{cm} and QR=18 cmQR = 18\,\text{cm}. Points SS, TT and UU are the midpoints of PQPQ, PRPR and QRQR respectively. The quadrilateral STUQSTUQ is formed by joining the points SS, TT, UU and the vertex QQ in that order. (i) Find the lengths of STST and SUSU. (ii) Hence calculate the perimeter of quadrilateral STUQSTUQ."
