Problem

A rigid body of mass MM and radius RR rolls without slipping. Its moment of inertia about its center is I=kMR2I = k M R^2, where kk is a dimensionless constant. Derive an expression, in terms of kk only, for the ratio of translational kinetic energy to total kinetic energy while the body is rolling.
