Problem

While verifying Ohm’s law, a group of students obtained the following readings for a fixed resistor. Copy the table in your answer book and complete it. (a) Fill in the missing current values to keep the resistance constant. Potential difference V (V)V\,(\text{V}) : 1.5, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0 Current I (A)I\,(\text{A}) : 0.30, ___, 0.90, ___ (b) Calculate the resistance for each complete pair of VV and II values. (c) Find the average value of the resistance of the resistor from all the calculated values. (d) State whether your completed observations verify Ohm’s law and justify your answer with one reason.
