Problem

The magnitude of a magnetic field in the region 0≤x≤0.20 m0 \le x \le 0.20\,\text{m}, 0≤y≤0.20 m0 \le y \le 0.20\,\text{m} is given by B=kxB = kx Tesla, where k=0.20 T m−1k = 0.20\,\text{T}\,\text{m}^{-1} and the field is directed along the +z+z-axis. The surface considered is the square portion of the xyxy-plane bounded by these limits. Calculate the total magnetic flux passing through the square.
