Problem

A particle moves in the xx-yy plane. At t=0t=0, it is at (1 m,2 m)(1\,\text{m},2\,\text{m}) and has velocity (4i^+6j^) m s−1(4\hat{i}+6\hat{j})\,\text{m s}^{-1}. At t=4 st=4\,\text{s}, it is at (6 m,4 m)(6\,\text{m},4\,\text{m}) and has velocity (2i^+10j^) m s−1(2\hat{i}+10\hat{j})\,\text{m s}^{-1}. In the given time interval, find: (a) Average velocity. (b) Average acceleration. (c) From the given data, can you find the average speed?
