Problem

Three capacitors of capacitances 1 F1\,\text{F}, 2 F2\,\text{F}, and 3 F3\,\text{F} are charged to 10 V10\,\text{V}, 20 V20\,\text{V}, and 30 V30\,\text{V}, respectively. The positive plates of the first two capacitors are connected to the negative plate of the third capacitor, and the negative plates of the first two capacitors are connected to the positive plate of the third capacitor. Find: (a) Common potential difference VV. (b) Final charges on the capacitors.
