Problem

The following readings were taken for a metallic wire at room temperature: Voltage V (V): 2.0, 6.0, 10.0 Current I (A): 0.10, 0.30, 0.52 (a) Determine the resistance of the wire between 0 V and 6 V. (b) Using the 6 V and 10 V readings, calculate the average resistance in this higher range. (c) From your answers above, state with numerical justification whether the wire obeys Ohm’s law over the entire range of the measurements.
