Problem

Let f(x)=x2−9x2−4x+3.f(x)=\frac{x^{2}-9}{x^{2}-4x+3}. Answer the following questions. (i) Find all real numbers where ff is not defined. (ii) Determine the limit of f(x)f(x), if it exists, at each point obtained in part (i). (iii) Classify each point of non-definition as giving rise to a removable discontinuity or an infinite discontinuity. (iv) For every removable discontinuity, find the value that should be assigned to ff at that point so that the function becomes continuous there.
