Problem

A junction J is connected to four metallic leads. Currents of 4.0 A4.0\,\text{A} and 2.5 A2.5\,\text{A} flow towards the junction through two of the leads, while a current of 1.8 A1.8\,\text{A} flows away from the junction through the third lead. Assuming the current in the fourth lead to be II, find: (i) the magnitude of II, and (ii) whether it flows into or out of the junction.
