Problem

ABCDABCD is a trapezium in which AB∥CDAB \parallel CD. The diagonals ACAC and BDBD intersect at OO. It is given that ∠BAD=∠BCD\angle BAD = \angle BCD. (i) Name a pair of equal angles, one from △ABO\triangle ABO and the other from △CDO\triangle CDO, which are equal because AB∥CDAB \parallel CD. State the reason for their equality. (ii) Using the information that ∠BAD=∠BCD\angle BAD = \angle BCD, prove that △ABO≅△CDO\triangle ABO \cong \triangle CDO. (iii) Hence, show that AB=CDAB = CD.
