Problem

Let the function g:[−1,2]→Rg:[-1,2]\to\mathbb{R} be given by g(x)=⌊2x⌋.g(x)=\lfloor2x\rfloor. Determine the set of all points in [−1,2][-1,2] at which gg is continuous. Also list every point in [−1,2][-1,2] where gg is discontinuous and state the type of each discontinuity.
