Problem

For the reaction A+B→\text{A} + \text{B} \rightarrow products, separate experiments were performed in which the concentration of one reactant was varied while the other was held constant. The resulting straight-line plots yielded the following slopes: slope of ln⁡(initial rate)\ln(\text{initial rate}) vs. ln⁡[A]\ln[\text{A}]: 0.51 slope of ln⁡(initial rate)\ln(\text{initial rate}) vs. ln⁡[B]\ln[\text{B}]: 1.07 Write the rate law for the reaction (use kk for the rate constant).
