Problem

In a circle of radius 12 cm12\,\text{cm}, radii OAOA, OBOB and OCOC are drawn so that ∠AOB=120∘\angle AOB = 120^\circ and ∠AOC=60∘\angle AOC = 60^\circ, with all three points A,B,CA,B,C on the same side of OAOA. The region bounded by arc ABAB, arc ACAC and chord BCBC is shaded. (i) Find the area of the segment corresponding to arc ABAB. (ii) Find the area of the segment corresponding to arc ACAC. (iii) Determine the area of the shaded region between the two arcs.
