Problem

Triangle ABCABC has vertices A(3,2)A(3,2), B(−4,2)B(-4,2) and C(−4,−3)C(-4,-3) on the coordinate plane. (i) Plot and label △ABC\triangle ABC on a coordinate plane. (ii) Reflect △ABC\triangle ABC in the xx-axis to obtain △A1B1C1\triangle A_1B_1C_1. Write the coordinates of A1A_1, B1B_1 and C1C_1. (iii) Reflect △ABC\triangle ABC in the yy-axis to obtain △A2B2C2\triangle A_2B_2C_2. Write the coordinates of A2A_2, B2B_2 and C2C_2. (iv) Plot both reflected triangles on the same graph and list two observations about the symmetry of the original and reflected triangles with respect to the coordinate axes.
