Problem

During an experiment to verify Ohm’s law, a student obtained the following set of readings for a wire kept in the circuit for a long time: Current II (A): 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80 Potential difference VV (V): 1.0, 2.1, 3.1, 4.2 (a) Compute the resistance for each reading. (b) Calculate the mean resistance of the wire. (c) Suggest one change in the experimental procedure that could reduce the differences among the individual resistance values.
