A fair six-sided die is thrown once. (i) Let EE be the event "the number obtained is greater than 4". Find P(E)P(E). (ii) Find the probability of the complementary event EcE^{c}. (iii) Verify that P(E)+P(Ec)=1P(E)+P(E^{c})=1 using the values obtained in parts (i) and (ii). (iv) Is the event EcE^{c} a sure event, an impossible event, or neither? Give a brief justification.
