Problem

A car moves round a circular test track of radius 25 m25\,\text{m}, making 3636 complete revolutions every minute. (i) Calculate the period of one revolution. (ii) Show algebraically that the speed vv of the car can be expressed in the form v=2πrfv = 2\pi r f, where ff is the frequency of revolution. (iii) Using the result of part (ii), find the speed of the car in m/s\text{m/s} and in km/h\text{km/h}. (iv) If the driver increases the number of revolutions per minute to 5454 while keeping to the same track, what will be the new speed?
