Problem

Consider the cubic polynomial p(x)=2x3−3x2−11x+6p(x)=2x^{3}-3x^{2}-11x+6. (i) Evaluate p(x)p(x) at x=−3,−2,1,32x=-3,-2,1,\dfrac{3}{2} and identify which of these values are zeros of p(x)p(x). (ii) Write the corresponding linear factors for each zero obtained in part (i). (iii) Using any one zero from part (i), factorise p(x)p(x) completely into linear factors.
