Problem

Three vectors a\mathbf{a}, b\mathbf{b} and c\mathbf{c} are such that ∣a∣≠0|\mathbf{a}|\ne0, a×b=3a×c\mathbf{a}\times\mathbf{b}=3\mathbf{a}\times\mathbf{c}, ∣a∣=∣b∣=1|\mathbf{a}|=|\mathbf{b}|=1, and ∣c∣=13|\mathbf{c}|=\frac{1}{3}. If the angle between b\mathbf{b} and c\mathbf{c} is 60∘60^\circ and ∣b−3c∣=λ∣a∣|\mathbf{b}-3\mathbf{c}|=\lambda|\mathbf{a}|, find λ\lambda.
