Problem

The magnetic flux linked with a single-turn coil varies with time according to Φ=5t2−10t\Phi = 5t^{2} - 10t (in mWb), where tt is in seconds. The outward normal to the coil is taken as positive. (i) At t=1 st = 1\,\text{s}, will the induced current be clockwise or anticlockwise when viewed along the positive normal? (ii) Repeat the answer for t=3 st = 3\,\text{s}.
