Problem

Three separate experiments use an identical light rod pivoted at its center. In each case a single 10 N10\,\text{N} force is applied for a brief instant: • Experiment A: force at 0.50 m0.50\,\text{m} from the pivot, perpendicular to the rod. • Experiment B: force at 0.25 m0.25\,\text{m} from the pivot, perpendicular to the rod. • Experiment C: force at 0.50 m0.50\,\text{m} from the pivot, acting 30∘30^{\circ} from perpendicular. Rank the experiments by the magnitude of the resulting angular acceleration (largest to smallest).
