Study the quadratic polynomial Q(x)=−x2+4x−3 and answer the questions that follow.
(i) Determine whether the graph of y=Q(x) is a straight line or a parabola.
(ii) State, with reason, whether the parabola opens upwards or downwards.
(iii) Find the y–intercept of the graph.
(iv) Calculate the x–intercepts (real roots) of the graph, giving your answer correct to one decimal place if necessary.
(v) Using the information obtained, sketch a rough graph of y=Q(x), labelling the intercepts clearly.
