Problem
Lines p and q are parallel and are intersected by a transversal at points A and B respectively. At A, the interior angle between p and the transversal is (x+30)∘. At B, the alternate interior angle corresponding to this angle is (2y+20)∘. The angle adjacent to (2y+20)∘ on the other side of the transversal at B is (3y+10)∘. Find the values of x and y.
