Problem

Two particles, AA and BB, carry the same positive charge qq and move perpendicular to the same uniform magnetic field with equal kinetic energies. (i) Show that the radius rr of the circular path is proportional to m\sqrt{m}, where mm is the mass of the particle. (ii) If BB has four times the mass of AA (i.e. mB=4mAm_B = 4m_A), find the ratio rBrA\dfrac{r_B}{r_A}.
