Problem

A circle with centre OO has three chords ABAB, CDCD and EFEF that subtend central angles of 60∘60^{\circ}, 110∘110^{\circ} and 95∘95^{\circ} respectively at OO. (i) Arrange the chords ABAB, CDCD and EFEF in increasing order of their lengths, clearly stating the reason for every comparison you make. (ii) If the length of CDCD is 7 cm7\,\text{cm}, explain why the length of ABAB must be less than 7 cm7\,\text{cm} and the length of EFEF must be greater than the length of ABAB but less than 7 cm7\,\text{cm}. Give complete justification for all your statements.
