Problem

Three voltmeters are available with ranges (a) 00–3 V3\,\text{V}, (b) 00–10 V10\,\text{V} and (c) 00–15 V15\,\text{V}. Each has the same least count of 0.1 V0.1\,\text{V}. Which voltmeter would you select to measure a potential difference expected to be about 2.8 V2.8\,\text{V}? Give one reason for your choice.
