Problem
Lines l and m are parallel and are intersected by a transversal t. One alternate interior angle measures (3x+15)∘ and the other alternate interior angle measures (5x−9)∘. Answer the following parts.
(i) Write a linear equation in x using the relationship between the two alternate interior angles.
(ii) Solve the equation to find the value of x.
(iii) Hence calculate the measure of each of the two alternate interior angles.
