Problem

For the reversible reaction in equilibrium : A⇌K2K1BA \xrightleftharpoons[K_2]{K_1} B . The values of K1K_1 and K2K_2 are 2×10−3 mol L−1 sec−12 \times 10^{-3} \text{ mol L}^{-1} \text{ sec}^{-1} and 3×10−3 sec−13 \times 10^{-3} \text{ sec}^{-1} respectively. If we add 0.5 moles of BB in the equilibrium mixture, initially containing 2 moles of AA . Calculate the time taken for concentration of BB to become equal to 3/43/4 of the concentration of AA at initial equilibrium. The volume of mixture is 1 L and remains constant.
