Problem

Consider the polynomial f(x)=x3−6x2+9x+5f(x)=x^{3}-6x^{2}+9x+5. (i) Find f′(x)f'(x) and hence determine all critical points of ff. (ii) Compute f′′(x)f''(x) and use it to classify each critical point obtained in part (i) as a point of local maximum or local minimum. (iii) Calculate the corresponding maximum and minimum values of the function.
